@PSLToFlushing That’s why you need to have a good gm and have the right roster and guys in minors so you don’t have to make these trades. Trading for relievers doesn’t seem to work out a lot and you give 6 years of control for 19 innings of a reliever.
@561_Kev He was brutal in losses to SMU and Louisville. Had NFL offensive line calling shotgun draws when needing a yard. In title game the first half was some of the worst play calling you’ll ever see. Has potential to be good but needs some consistency.
@CookedByGrimace Mets stunk, were a phony contender. Baez was never getting resigned and book was out on him swinging at everything. PCA at very least was going to be good defensive player. Why would Baez get Lindor going? I hope that was never said by Scott.
@ernestdove They need to not blow the pick. Winning some games is nice but they are going nowhere. They need to shut down these young kids that are past most innings pitched.
@Kem_R@Joelsherman1@Feinsand Yeah solid starter but for a guy who hit 41 homers. Never understood that trade for padres. Didn’t seem to shop him and got no real prospects for one of the best hitters in baseball
@JeffPassan Not sure why these crappy teams give away their good players to cashman for nothing every year. Stanton, Soto, Bellinger, Jazz, weathers and now Garcia. All for crap.
@GoodFundies Yes and they did the same thing the following yeah with a few more players. Meanwhile new regime gives away high upside prospects for 18 innings for relievers they let walk. Fully expecting them to win enough games to drop out of top 6 draft pick too.
@ernestdove I wonder if there was any hesitation knowing a team you were supposed to contend against were happy to send you one of their best pitchers.
