Beginning this August, six universities in five Latin American countries will offer official credit courses in Korean Studies, featuring topics like Korea’s democracy, economy, literature, and policy.

National museum leaders from Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines have arrived in Korea through KF’s invitation program. 🏛️
During their visit, they will explore major cultural institutions including the National Museum of Korea, MMCA, Leeum Museum of Art, and the KF ASEAN Culture House.
They will also join the Korea-ASEAN Cultural Cooperation Roundtable to discuss future collaboration in AI- and digital transformation-based cultural exchange.

From April 26 to May 2, the KF hosted distinguished guests from these three countries for a week-long program featuring visits to relevant government institutions, insights into Korea’s development experience at the Global Knowledge Exchange & Development Center, and cultural experiences across Korea. 🤝
The visit offered a valuable opportunity to deepen mutual understanding and explore avenues for future cooperation.

🌐 Public Diplomacy in Action
The Korea Foundation (KF) is pleased to welcome distinguished guests in political affairs from New Zealand, the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, the Holy See, and the United States of America to Korea for a week-long program from April 19 to 25.

Through visits to the Global Knowledge Exchange & Development Center and the Seoul AI Foundation, participants are exploring Korea’s development journey—from its economic transformation to advancements in artificial intelligence. In addition, they have engaged in discussions with experts from research institutions, including the Korea National Diplomatic Academy, gaining valuable insights into Korea’s foreign policy and emerging security issues.

The KF hopes that this program will contribute to deepening mutual understanding and fostering meaningful and lasting partnerships.

🇰🇷🤝🇦🇺 Australia’s next-generation political leaders visited Seoul!

From Korea’s National Assembly and National Election Commission to Sejong City; from the DMZ to a professional baseball game – the Australian delegation explored Korea’s political system and experienced Korean culture.

Marking ANZAC Day, they also visited the War Memorial of Korea to reflect on the history of solidarity between the two countries.
