CIDP as another (rare) MNT-style AE of cilta-cel in #MMsm.
Great correlatives in @BloodCancerJnl by 🇩🇪 group: TCRseq identified oligoclonal CARs (CDR epitopes similar to GBS) in one case.
Early treatment with high-dose Cy, IT chemo is key - now need preemptive ID & mitigation!
We report two cases of severe CIDP following cilta-cel therapy. Findings suggest bystander activation of CD8⁺ non-CAR-T cells rather than direct CAR-T toxicity. Timely T-cell–depleting therapy with cyclophosphamide may improve outcomes. Out now @BloodCancerJnl!
Both cases will also be presented at the upcoming DGHO meeting in cologne during the poster session Multiple Myeloma I. Join us to discuss CAR-T–associated neurotoxicity and immune-mediated complications in myeloma. We look forward to seeing you there! @dgho_eV#DGHO2025
pre-Omicron SARS-CoV-2-nAbs carry mutations that minimally impact activity vs. ancestral Wu01 strain, but become critical to neutralize Omicron BA.1/BA.2, thus SHM diversifies primary Ab response to deal with emerging variants @ImmunityCP

This was a great journey with @KorMichi, @zehner_matthias and @DiskinLab, where we learned how bystander mutations help to prepare for viral escape by diversifying our antibody memory. Thankful for the opportunity to co-lead this project with @FKlein_Lab
New research finds that Omicron breakthrough infection following a third dose of #SARSCoV2 vaccination leads to selection of pre-existing “ultra-broad” memory B cells, which can neutralize many variants. @FKlein_Lab@UniCologne https://t.co/W9PUCtrDLv
We are very happy to share our latest publication out in @ImmunityCP! Here we investigated how somatic hypermutation impacts SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibodies (https://t.co/ZGNwb8OkDQ).
Thanks a lot to our dear 🇮🇱 friends and collaborators @DiskinLab
