[CV Anand IPS @CVAnandIPS]

Got up in the morning today to hear the very sad news Balasubramanyam, IPS of 1994 batch, has passed away in the USA. When I was SP Nizamabad in 1996-99 period, he was my addl sp operations and showed exemplary bravery in tackling the naxalites, sometimes undertaking very risky ops. Then his tenure as SP prakasham and in the intelligence were all eventful . After bifurcation, he was allotted AP and went away to the USA for a long period and then was detected with this illness.

Two months ago he had spoken to me and said he was going to the USA again for another type of treatment and wanted some help which I extended immediately. He was critical but hopeful. I never imagined that would be his last call to me.

I am at a loss of words about loss of such an esteemed and exemplary colleague . May his soul rest in peace Om Shanti 🙏🏻🙏🏻

SEC has to answer . Central forces be deployed as state police inefficient in tackling hooliganism

Congratulations Chandrababu Naidu garu, for converting AP into a lawless state, where no one is safe.

AP police pushes down former ministers, TDP cadres don’t allow women candidates to file nominations.

This reminds of Manipur incidents against women.

Where are we heading?

[Korpal Srikanth Reddy @KorpalReddy]

SEC responsible for law and order in elections as police in their control till counting.

[Telugu360 @Telugu360]

“Will democracy survive if an opposition party is not allowed to nominate its candidates?” YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy

“We would be approaching the court with all these evidences once again. We would once again be submitting all these evidences to the court as well.

These elections are on party basis. When the party itself is saying, ‘These are my candidates, please facilitate nominations for these people’, that is where it ends.

The duty of the SEC, as a neutral SEC, should be to ensure adequate protection if needed, or collect these nominations in a centrally located place and facilitate the nomination process. It’s as simple as that.”

Inview of acute drought, water crisis govt should cautiously spend budget in all official programmes without waste. Welfare benefits should not affect. Reduce non plan expenditure. No repairs, extra comforts to ministers homes. Officials too follow. Convoys to all be minimum.

At 58 you are performing well as 25! Good going at this age as many retire crossing forty. Your passion for game not worried about number of age but number of wickets, runs. With heavy duties during Ganesh festival your love for cricket is indeed great!

[CV Anand IPS @CVAnandIPS]

In this Sunday’s HCA league match Sec Club bowled first vs Greenlands CC and when they were 48 for 5 , heavy rains washed out the match. Bowled well, with both sides swing and seam, beat the bat but without any success - it requires more speed in the ball to get wickets maybe ! Well at 58 , this is the maximum I can generate -must be around 115-120 kms/hour !
