Today we decided to make homes for our plant babies out of clay - AKA plant pots. Students researched methods like coil pots and pinch pots and designed sketch notes before getting their hands dirty. #bromleyschoolnz #TamaiCoL #clay #plantparents

What a day! It started with another awesome assembly, then our Nationalities Parade. It ended with our class transplanting our flower seedlings that we planted from seed two weeks ago. We’ve each adopted and named our plant babies. #bromleyschoolnz #TamaiCoL #seedlings #begreen

Our bee inquiry lives on! We’re focusing on ways to support bees in our community. We’ll be making water bowls next week to go with our bee rocks. Bees need water to drink and a place to perch while they do it. #TamaiCoL #beecareful #beesareunbeelievable #savethebees

We’ve started off Term 3 with Diving Deeper! Our provocation was “What song does a river sing?” Our first project was to make a collage of the river and the song of a collage is ripping, gluing, cutting and smooshing! #bromleyschoolnz #TamaiCoL #divingdeeper

Since last week we’ve been learning about Samoan patterns and art on lavalava and siapo. We’ve experimented with digital art, repeating shapes and patterns, water colour and even chalk. These are some of our creations in the making. #bromleyschoolnz #TamaiCoL #art #Samoa
