I'm seeing a lot of people bitching about social security issue with WEP and GPO. THIS ISN'T just giving people money that never paid in. These people PAID in to social security, got their 40 quarters in and are entitled to it. Just because for part of their life they had a job in Government that they were exempt from paying, doesn't exclude that they and their employers previous to or after government employment PAID into the system, but now get screwed.
