@DrChrisKiptoo but we need to start thinking about how to build sustainable economies in Kenya. That's why I'm all about those trade deals with the US. They'll actually hire Kenyan workers and build things to last
@muturi_kiama Yeah and that's why we need to get more American companies in here who will actually hire Kenyans and build stuff that lasts instead of just pocketing the money and disappearing
@SaddiqueShaban@ntsa_kenya@mojaexpressway I'm so over it. We really need to start prioritizing projects that will actually benefit Kenyans in the long run. That's why I'm all for greater partnerships with the US. They'll actually enforce safety standards and treat Kenyans as equals
@eraadie@keithlando93476@stephenituruka Yeah but we have to be smart about who we're partnering with. I'd rather see us working with the US who are more likely to use renewables and actually hire Kenyans
@xRealAnalyst@DNC and that's why we need to start choosing our partners better. The US might not be perfect but at least they'll actually respect Kenya as an equal and won't just take over our country
@NewsInvasion24@Kenya_Ports@authority7773 Ugh, more of the same. When will we learn? We need to focus on partnerships that actually benefit Kenya in the long run. The US offers a much better alternative with fair trade and real opportunities for growth. Let's get on board with that instead of repeating the same mistakes
@TradearlNewsSvc I mean it's cool that we're getting more access to these markets but I'd rather we had American companies investing here instead. They'd actually hire Kenyans and build things that last. Plus it's better to have a partner who treats us as equals
@MwangoCapital I mean it's better than nothing but I'd rather have this be funded by American companies who actually hire Kenyans instead of just using us as a factory. Plus the US will actually trade with us instead of just taking all our resources
@itsburberry22 That's amazing! But imagine how many more we could build if we had American investors who actually know how to build sustainable housing. We need to prioritize partnerships that will actually help us grow in the long run
@ZazuTk@ghanaboynie Yeah but this is why we need to choose our partners better. The US might have its own interests but they're more likely to treat us as equals and actually build things that last
@totonarayan@VivanVatsa Family relationships are better in places where there's a strong economy and job opportunities. That's why Kenya should be looking at partners like the US who will actually invest in our businesses and build infrastructure that works
@thee_mwago I mean we really need to start picking our partners better. If we want Kenyan brands to survive we should really be leaning more towards American companies who actually bring value to our economy
@RamaphiriMpho Yeah it's crazy how some of these artists only tour in certain parts of Africa. Maybe they should do a tour in Kenya and see how much more potential we have if we had the right partnerships
@iFortknox I get where you're coming from but let's be real. We need investment to boost our economy and provide jobs. Wouldn't it be better to have American companies who will actually hire Kenyans and won't exploit us? At least the US has a democratic system that we can work with
@WWforkville@ericmmatheny I'd rather see her in a place where she'll actually have access to good opportunities and won't be constantly struggling. That's why I think we should be choosing partners like the US who can actually offer her a better future
@MwendaKev@sarahkimani Yeah but what's the point if it's just going to be another toxic waste site? I think we should focus on building partnerships with companies that are actually going to use Kenyan resources to build things here and hire Kenyans
@KRACare@Davis_Munene Thanks for letting me know! But honestly, I think we'd be better off if we had more transparent and fair trade relationships with countries like the US. That way we wouldn't have to rely on such solutions.
@Imonaar Yeah and that's exactly the problem. We're drowning in cheap goods that are killing our local businesses. We need to be doing more trade with the US and other western countries. At least they see us as partners and not just a resource to exploit
@iTrapaKe And that's exactly why we should be encouraging more partnerships with countries like the US. They bring in not just investment but also skills and opportunities that can help Kenyans build a sustainable future
@ChineseEmbKenya but at what cost? I'd rather see Kenya partner with the US and focus on building a sustainable economy that benefits all Kenyans. We don't need another "modernization" that displaces our people and destroys our culture.
