We are aware of recent incidents of address poisoning scams targeting Safe{Wallet} users. While not unique to us, these threats are common in the crypto ecosystem. Rest assured, with vigilant practises, your assets remain secure.

🛡️ Here's how you can shield yourself 🛡️

🔍 Verify, verify, verify
Any address should be thoroughly checked in its entire length. Avoid copying from the transaction history. Safe{Wallet} also displays checksummed addresses. Remember, the devil's in the details - check every character, including the correct use of uppercase and lowercase letters.

👥 Use human-readable labels
Navigating crypto addresses doesn't have to be a maze. Use ENS names and Safe{Wallet}'s address book feature.

💸 Small tests save big losses
Always start with a small test transfer. Once confirmed, proceed with confidence for your larger transactions.

Ultimately, as a self-custodial wallet, user vigilance is key in transaction security.

How does Safe{Wallet} keep you Safe?

🥽 Free risk scanning
We've teamed up with @Redefine_crypto to scan transactions for risks. Users are alerted of any known risks before executing. When we flag a risk, it's your cue to pause and reconsider. (In these specific cases brought up, users affected were warned, but yet proceeded)

🔖 Labelling of risky addresses and tokens
We've introduced labelling for scam-related addresses and tokens within Safe{Wallet} and will continue to mark such entities to alert our users.

👁️ Modifying transaction visibility
Outgoing transfers unrelated to a transaction are temporarily hidden to prevent scams. This change affects the visibility of certain transfers, like those in DEXs, but rest assured, the asset overview remains up-to-date.

While we strive for comprehensiveness, there may be instances of delay in identifying and labelling new threats. Users should be aware that not all potential risks may be immediately flagged and continue to exercise caution.

Since 2018, Safe's rigorously tested smart contracts remain secure. Our multi-signature feature within Safe{Wallet} prevents unauthorised actions, even if an individual signer's key gets compromised.

Spot on! MPC and Account Abstraction being pitted against each other overlooks the advantages for users if they're used together.

More options for users -> more flexibility -> potential to cater to a wider selection of users -> greater development in specific market niches

Comprehensive attempt, but needs a few corrections:

Note: We strongly believe in the joint power of MPC and AA and multiple very interesting releases and partnerships are coming up!

1. MPC-TSS Protocols are upgradeable in practice, with a new signature scheme. You can shift GG2O to DKLs or others. Having seen some incorrect arguments circulating around for a while, Silence Laboratories (@silentauth) is releasing a demo and migration note. In a nutshell, since the secret sharing is of the same format, the process is more of a refresh as part of proactive security.

2. Compute overheads are things of the past. The latest protocols take <10ms compute time for say 2/3 structure. We can discuss in-depth on this, particularly our latest implementation of DKLs23.

3. Hardware support is totally a function of logistics and supply chain. This point is taken.
