Don't forget people are still hurting. The storm passed, but these people in WNC and ETN are far from moving on. Pray. Help if you can. SHARE their stories.

@KosKonnects102@kosienm@CheetahChamps@CSPrincipalD93 You are right ! These were wonderful years of friendship and partnership. Enjoy your time dear Mrs. Kosieniak. We enjoyed every minute of meeting you and your wonderful pupils. Love from Israel and you are always welcome to visit.
@MathCoachCorner Math always came easy to me, so I really had to grow in perspective in order for me to teach others! I see math as puzzles to solve; I know others see it as monsters to run from! LOL
@FirstAtBat I think so. It takes them awhile to understand which diagram to draw/use...that's still guided a lot. But, when they see that, it helps them understand the process I think.
@MathCoachCorner AGREED! I always tell them, their peer might have a method that makes more sense to them than how I would model it. I also love to hear my kids validate a peer's thinking!
A5. cont. I probably (is that possible?) spend TOO much time discussing the various ways to solve/see it. I have a few students who do it completely different than what the "expected" structure would be. #2ndchat
A5. Now THIS happens a lot in my classroom. The best part is letting the kids tell how they SEE it and how they THOUGHT it. I love to watch them share their thinking...it naturally leads to this. #2ndchat
