Miss Paint is genuinely (rather than fashionably) idiosyncratic, movingly empathetic & matches its bleak-yet-not-hopeless mood so perfectly with its aesthetic, even its idle "animation" conveys the sheer exhaustion of living under capitalism.

Best adventure I've played in 2023.

@TheGameBakers @sloclap [cont] Also, even though the combat in MGRR with basic enemies is great, the bosses end up being the highlight of the game. So in the end, the writing really makes the game rise to something above a simply good combat game. You remember every boss you fight(same with furi).

@TheGameBakers @sloclap For me ,its any game where the bosses are well difined characters that you can love/hate/grow attached to. So, i feel like metal gear rising and furi succeed in that but sifu doesnt. Never cared about sifus bosses as characters so the fights never had as much tension story wise.
