@IntlStacker@IncomeSharks The mint has to give 30 days notice for a price increase. They were selling numismatics for under spot. The recent price increase brings it back into line with previous price differences.
@St3venJacks0n @MakeGoldGreat You post pics from the mint with mint pricing and now talk bullion pricing. Bullion strikes and numismatic coins are not the same. Which is it? You cant compare the two because the mint can sell their strikes for whatever they want. Bullion planchet price is controlled by law.
@IntlStacker@JDB_trading 2024: Bullion coin ~$35
Proof coin $90
2025: spot explodes to 90
2026: Bullion coin $100
Proof coin $170
The price for numismatics is proportional to bullion. I dont understand the hype.
@IntlStacker I dont understand all the hype about Mint prices. Numismatics were always way more than bullion coins. That $95 for proofs was set when spot was $30. The raise in price is proportional to where its always been. The Authorized Purchasers for bullion aren't paying that.
@awfulannouncing It went from 48.9%, 42%, back to 49%. Thats a pretty minor change across 3500 people.
The real question: does Pat Mcafee's target audience read "The Athletic"? Clearly not.
