@lpolgreen many people don’t bother picking it up when it isn’t snowing so they certainly aren’t going to bother now. at least it’s easier to see and not step in?! (i’m a dog owner who always picks up after my dog!)

@SpencerMagne @EricMGarcia I’m in Bethesda right now for a dr appt and the main roads here are worlds better than any main road in DC. Parking lanes are even clear. No excuses for DC’s ineptitude (I’ve lived in dc for 26 years before you tell me about 2010 and 2016, they did better then)

@truly_wise @EricMGarcia i’ve been in 20009 for 26 years and in my house for 18– my street (a main road on dc’s transportation plan) was at least plowed once by day three in during snowmaggedon and in 2016 and it has yet to get a single pass. no excuse. i’m in moco for a dr appt and streets are clear.

@AGuglik I have several friends currently in government jobs who are worried about being fired bc the new admin wants to cut the fed workforce and also replace workers w trump loyalists. these are real people who will likely cut back in things like meals out bc the future is uncertain.
