@BrooksLybrand@ffmfedd agreed! theres a lot of new surface area so guides for auth or database management or eventing, or other common patterns would be huge. but its pre 1.0 so i get it
@LofeRaise@TheChiefNerd@Brenn_Clinton Demand does change. If software becomes cheaper to produce then demand will rise. A business that could not afford a custom software solution 2 years ago may bee able to afford it today.
@karrisaarinen@slimjimmy I think agents at the OS level is the inevitable future when the dust settles. It just makes more sense to ask Siri or Gemini or Codex to interface with the apps I have on my computer. Every app needing to build their own agent layer would never scale. Just expose through web MCP
@DavidKPiano I don’t want a different agent for every app. I want one agent at the OS level that knows what my apps are and can interact with them for me.
@mkelovik@future_yas@timreay You are essentially arguing that the FSD supervised and US average differential is completely meaningless and FSD has no effect
@mkelovik@future_yas@timreay It’s not that difficult to extrapolate and assume anything other than an increase in base safety. This is prime goal post moving.
@jeffrey_way I think developers are inherently too opinionated and LLMs are inherently nondeterministic. Those two things dont mix unless we get to the point that what’s generated literally doesn’t matter anymore.
I think we’re a long way from that, so no, I’ll be looking at code in a year
