Cody Green was diagnosed with leukemia when he was just 22 months old.
For years, he endured treatments and setbacks, but somehow kept his strength, optimism, and admiration for the U.S. Marines.
The Marines eventually honored Cody as an Honorary Marine, recognizing the courage and determination he showed throughout his battle.
As Cody’s condition grew worse, Sergeant Mark Dolfini went to Riley Hospital for Children.
Then he did something Cody and his family would never forget.
For **eight straight hours**, Dolfini stood outside Cody’s hospital room in full dress uniform, keeping watch through the night.
Cody passed away the following day.
The Marine couldn’t take away his pain or change the outcome.
But he could stand guard.
And sometimes, the greatest act of courage is simply making sure someone knows they’re not alone. 🥹🧡
Cecil County is one of Maryland's most conservative jurisdictions. Under Democrats' suggested new maps if HB2100 passes, Cecil County would be carved into Baltimore City to dilute Republican votes and deny their residents fair representation in Congress.
Cecil County Executive Adam Streight testified in Annapolis against the gerrymandering plan, and then dismantled Democrats' claim that redistricting will address affordability:
@SenBillFerg Oh, but it's perfectly fine to carve up the counties? I had respect for you during the last legislative session, but you folded like a cheap deck of cards.
