As we honour the memory of the victims, we must also commit to building a better future. Civil society is one of the pillars of justice and reconciliation.

In Sarajevo & Srebrenica, kids took part in art workshops “Drawn from the Heart” — creating & exchanging artwork as symbols of peace & friendship.

The activity was part of the joint initiative by 🇪🇺 & @srebrenicamc marking #Srebrenica30.

🌍 Over 50 young people from BiH, the region & the world are taking part in the 🇪🇺-supported 6th Srebrenica Youth School, opened today at Europe House.

➡️ The group will visit different cities across BiH and join the commemoration on 11 July to mark 30 years since the genocide.

Second Youth Academy #StateOfPeace is open! 🥳🕊

We welcomed 52 young people from BiH, Serbia, Croatia, and Montenegro. The evening began with opening speeches by Asja Kratović (@eubih) and Velma Šarić (#PCRCBiH).

The program continued with the play "I Am Not Here," performed by @GkmVitez.
