@itsjennyriley@maggarvin@NCVLI Better question question can you name one in the state of Pennsylvania that has to be legally followed or can be legally enforced?
Crime victims deserve an equal level of constitutional protections, no less vigorous, than those afforded to the accused and convicted.
RT if you agree.
Crime victims have already gone through so much. The criminal justice system shouldn't retraumatize them.
Hear from @krbw83, mother of sexual abuse and rape survivor, Tommy, about their experience and why she advocates for Marsy's Law.
Powerful remarks from @RepDelozier and @krbw83 in this @CBS21NEWS piece on the impact that Marsy's Law could have for crime victims: https://t.co/G2ROstYXPb
@aclupa if the victims rights act is law tell us why you all refuse to help victims that have their rights violated! You refused to help us in 2014 because you told me they are not law @MarsysLawforPA is needed #victimsmatter
@aclupa You all posted on your wed site in oct 19 the victims rights act is law. Interesting because In 2014 the ACLU told me they are statutory and it’s suggested they are followed. You all could not help when our victims rights were not followed. #victimsmatter
@aclupa can you tell me how if the Victims’ Rights Act is law. Why ya’ll told me in 2014 it was not law and just statutory? Reached out when my boy was refused to do his impact statement for his sexual assault #victimsmatter we need @MarsysLawforPA
Just some of the photo from over the years with #Advocating for @MarsysLawforPA The support from #Survivors, #Victims Families, District Attorneys, State Representatives,Senators,Law Enforcement,Victim Resource Centers, and the community is still overwhelming to think about.
