Thank you @RepLarryBucshon and @RepBera for your leadership to address the 2022 Medicare Fee Schedule cuts. APTA is grateful to the 247 bipartisan members urging House leadership to take action.

This is so exciting!!
we have the official bill number. It is H.R. 5536.
Thank you @RepBobbyRush and @RepJasonSmith#PTAdvocacy
Let's all work together to make this happen! https://t.co/DlVr2NMF0j
@PTPintcast This would be great! As long as it has no credits. Wisconsin limits all associate degrees to 60 credits. I’m pushing it with 61 in my PTA program. 😳🙄
@PTPintcast All DPT and PTA students should have to do at least one clinical rotation together so there is better understanding of each other and the team.
Yesterday, APTA, along with AOTA, NARA, and NASL sent a joint letter to Capitol Hill regarding the impending 15% PTA/OTA payment differential set to be implemented under Medicare Part B beginning in 2022. Follow the link for more details. https://t.co/bIjxrXN8mx
CMS wants to implement a flawed payment differential plan for PTAs without any attempt to mitigate the damage.
We can't let that happen.
Please take 2 minutes to take action and send a letter to CMS.

@NickHoopes_ Try being the person teaching it in the classroom. “There is no evidence to support this modality, but we are going to spend two weeks learning it.” Every spring I am the biggest hypocrite ever.
Did you hear about the FaceBook Live on April 29th? Our very own Mandy Johnston from California will be talking about the effects of COVID on PTA Education, Practice and Outlook. It should be a great discussion. We hope that you will join us!
Mark your calendars!
On Thursday, 3/25 at 2pm EDT, @APTAtweets staff will host a follow-up live Q&A session to the 3/1 Government Affairs webinar. The access link is in the Resources section of the course in the learning center and will be shared with enrollees 24 hours prior.

@wildestdreams_3 @MikeMakher @FScottFeil_DPT Never say just a PTA! We work damn hard in our two year programs to be the assistant to a doctoring level professional. I worked harder in PTA school than my Master’s program.
@FScottFeil_DPT Big supporter of this! Why spend University money on gen Ed’s? Especially with community colleges offering smaller class sizes and more personalized instruction.
