Is Texas heading towards next power crisis? I hope people did counter measures to avoid large energy bills due to the spot pricing. #energy#power
I guess this time they will just break some sweat and not freeze like last time.

@RadekJirku Už delší dobu si říkám to samé.

Since the bid is at 0 EUR/MWh it is likely a wind or solar. Shape suggests a solar. The peak is at 36,2 MWh. The only solar farm this big in Czech republic is Ralsko Ra 1. So here you go. It is likely that one.
The only question is what is that ~0,5 MWh at night?
Did somebody dare to look at the supply-demand curves for the CZ DAM? They are wild 🐋! Like what is that supply order for 1500 MW @-75? I cannot make sense of it. Only 2️⃣ or 3️⃣ players with assets have that many MWs.

The only player who comes to my mind is a large distribution company balancing their diagram. But why not to submit it at -500 EUR in order to be price-taking bid? They would have a reasonable guarantee it will be executed.
@SkupinaCEZ (*) - Different countries publish different levels of data so mileage might vary. Everything is based 100% on public data and descriptions.
In recent days I've been working on a true Day-ahead market simulator. The real deal with real data from market participants (*). One can send a bid and see if it is accepted and how the clearing price changes.
Drop me a message if you'd like to give it a try!

Lower limit on day-ahead price is changing to -500 EUR/MWh. Don't forgot to update your Excel's. If you're using price-taking orders you have to use this new limit. Otherwise businesses might face additional imbalance costs. https://t.co/Z3xbdVvMCq
