I’d like to introduce you to Olia Svetlanova, a new 3D artist specializing in character and monster creation. I think we’re seeing a new star rising in the 3D world! She is very talented, and I wish her all the best! 🙌 @OliaSvetlanova
open to commissions, for anyone interested.
as usual everything is made in #b3d and #ucupaint.
but yeah, i can use zbrush, substance mari and blablabla.
Pixtube is out now!
A few people asked for a standalone version, so I decided to turn it into a proper release.
You can draw pixel art, switch between Raw / CRT / Split views, mess around with CRT simulation and retro signal effects, and generally make pixels look weird and fun.
The CRT and analog signal simulation is built on shaders I’ve been developing and refining for around two years 😳
It includes Composite and RF signal processing, 240p / 480i display simulation, and more — and I plan to keep improving it over time.
It also includes pixtube-player, so you can throw your own images, GIFs, and videos into it and run them through 240p, 480i, NES, PC-88, Composite, RF, etc.
I use Pixtube myself, so I’ll keep working on it and improving it as I go.

aaaaaaaaaaa I'm so excited. Literally the thing that was putting me off from using Plasticity full time was the retopo process and this addon is bringing a tear to my eye 🥲
Imagine Aseprite or another #pixelart program IN Blender?
Pixel Perfect Pixel Art texture painting on top of the model in the 3D viewport and in 2D.
Drawing, painting, selection tools, layers, texel density (pixel size) setup and density zones (multiple pixel sizes). #blender3d
Okay, this is wildly clean. 🤯
Using TexturingXYZ + Blender Softwrap to transfer and bake detail onto a custom model like this is the kind of workflow that makes you want to open Blender immediately.
Huge respect to @machinima_jp.
