@TerriaJS is probably the best thing I found in 2022!! Best framework for geospatial catalog ever 🌎. I had absolutely no issue deploying it!!!
You guys rock!!!
Don't wait to share your building vision until the final stages.

@TMIGame @CesiumJS That's definitely not expected! Can you please share some more details of what you're seeing on the community forum? We'll figure it out together. https://t.co/bkEaDWjCrU
We're celebrating the release of #UE5 with a look back at the incredible first year of #CesiumforUnreal. Congratulations and thanks to our friends at
@EpicGames@UnrealEngine & the #opensource & #gamedev communities who made the plugin a success. Onward! https://t.co/6euZYR1EX0
@uimac That said, we're considering ading CESIUM_RTC support even for glTF 2.0 models in a future version of Cesium for Unreal. It's reasonably straightforward to do and it sounds like it will make a fair number of models out there usable.
@uimac CESIUM_RTC is a glTF 1.0 extension, while Cesium for Unreal currently only supports glTF 2.0. It's also not strictly needed: a transform on the glTF's root node or in the tileset.json fulfills the same purpose. That's why it was never added to glTF 2.0.
@Virt_Arch Good observation! The globe is truly round (WGS84 ellipsoid+terrain), but at Editor time we often roll the globe through the UE coordinate system to aid level building. [1/3]
@Virt_Arch During play, the globe usually stays fixed, except that sublevels (https://t.co/gCnJYL73me) can discretely and transparently roll the globe to a new location so that normal UE actors / physics work as expected there. [2/3]
Cesium for Unreal is available on the @UnrealEngine Marketplace! Built in collaboration with @EpicGames, this free, open source plugin unlocks decades of 3D #geospatial technology for #UE4. Download now: https://t.co/lzTLcVE5tY
