Everything in maths is inter-connected. Skip counting leads to multiplication. Fractions help you understand division. And so on.

This lets us teach kids concepts only when they're ready for it. This screenshot is shows how maths concepts in Polymath are related.

@McLennan1977 I totally believe this. Understanding = meaning "equals" can be such a hard shift for some kids. It also leads them to struggle with 5 + ? = 6 type questions.
