Updated my system audio analyzer which is now signed by🍏and weird glitches should be gone. It includes a virtual device that you can also use to record the system audio, that is actually how I recorded the audio of the video in Quicktime ☺️

@affinitybyserif 👋is it possible that your website is down in some areas? I am getting a 403 error when visiting https://t.co/xTv2Lwdtnu the whole day..
Wozu eine Blockchain, wenn man auch fünf haben kann? Schmelzen Bitcoins unsere Gletscher? Und was ist eigentlich NFT-Kunst? Darüber hat @monoxyd mit seinen Gästen @praemandatum, @UzupisMUC und @andreasdotorg in Chaosradio 269 gesprochen:

One of the reasons I did another guitar tuner: On the app store, the top app with over 7000 ratings is free. It greets you with some information screens that you have to skip by pressing a button. On the last screen though, the same button starts a subscription. #darkpattern
What Apple doesn’t want you to know about the App Store👇
“The apps you love, from a place you can trust” they tell you. But the reality is far from it.
A 4.5-star app? Might as well be a multi-million dollar scam.
How, you ask?

The subscription scam apps that Apple allow in the App Store really are bananas. While they're busy hunting legitimate developers down for their pound of flesh, they're letting these hyaenas strive on the savannah unopposed.
Up to now, I've been in the "Apple *wants* to do the right thing" camp. My viewpoint is starting to change.
How to spot a $5M/year scam on the @AppStore, in 5 minutes flat:👇
@cwoodfield@keleftheriou reminds me of Diesel gate, where the cars had lower emissions on the test bench.. 🙃 maybe they just ping a server each start and flip the switch after the app is through the review 🤷♂️
@lint2015@keleftheriou@stroughtonsmith Wow 😳 thinking of how many people get ripped of in this minute just because they press the wrong button... I would think if x people want their money back, just take the app down? Instead they even push these apps, because they make revenue. I don’t get it.
@lint2015@keleftheriou@stroughtonsmith I also tried this and got to a page, where I then could not choose the app, because I did not pay for it. So maybe one needs to be scammed first to report the scam 🤷♂️ it should not be so hard to do this stuff.
The App Store has a big problem👇
You: an honest developer, working hard to improve your IAP conversions.
Your competitor: a $2M/year scam running rampant.

@keleftheriou I am wondering, how these apps make it through the review process. Maybe they start the scam afterwards, or the review process is flawed. There are tons of scam apps that are promoted in the App Store.
@keleftheriou 👆Exactly what I experienced, I thought I was crazy and even asked HN, because it is such an obvious problem and couldn’t find many complaints. I had nearly bought a guitar tuner for 8€ a week. Apple promotes the app, because it makes revenue. It has so many bad reviews, still..
