The effects of this current crisis are truly immeasurable. While we primarily examine this conflict from the perspective of government and global democracy, we must remember the people currently facing the brunt of this turbulent era in our world #EM203Robin

@EM203Long 100%. I think your tweet highlights the underlying reality that learning is a continuous, fluid process driven by external factors such as technology and social media. While studying learning can give us a sense of what learning is, we must remember that learning is case-specific
@EM203PCanham This is a great distinction to make! While learning is an accepted concept as a whole, learning in a digital age is much different. This course, so far, has touched on many points relating to this, but I hope that it will go even more in-depth in the coming weeks
@EM203ryan_ Despite understanding technology as an important part of learning in the present-day, I was surprised to see HOW pervasive it was in our learning structures. Even looking at social media as a tool was a surprise. Hopefully we will learn more in-depth about this moving forward.
@tyler_wildfong_ Totally agreed. I also think that the upcoming/ongoing transition to in-person learning again highlights some of the ways these technologies have aided in learning outside of the classroom and provide a subsequent basis for implementing these same technologies into live lectures
@EM203MLouie Great stuff Matthew! I'm also super excited to see how this content will tie in to future lessons. I think this course has a lot of value to anyone trying to develop understanding of the concept of learning in relation to social media.
The first weeks in EM203 have been super interesting so far! Having learned about the process of learning and multi-tasking so far, I am interested to see how transitioning back from online learning to in-person learning will affect our personal learning #EM203Robin
