TVK government should not yield to their pressure and should continue implementing measures against corrupt practices. Also, employees should not be made to bear expenses of ministers and collectors' visits. That would only give corrupt officials a free pass to justify their practices.

Why can't Tamil Nadu police follow Kerala's example of providing victims/their families with entire CCTV footage from police stations (under the RTI Act)?
Thoothukudi police allegedly leaked a selective 8-sec clip in Arunachalam's case. In the alleged custodial torture case of Anthonyraj in Puliyangudi, the victim's son says he has not been given the complete CCTV footage even after two months. Instead, he was shown only a selective clip of his father entering the police station. If Kerala can provide the entire CCTV footage, why can't Tamil Nadu do the same?
