What Bengaluru needs is Mass Rail Transport systems, not Tunnels, to solve the congestion problem.

@mlanaharis @Captain_Mani72 @mlanaharis @lkatheeq Please try to follow the law. BDA got Environment Clearance for BBC/PRR by saying it will make 25-30M ROW as green corridor but now it’s commercialising 35m with no green cover for 65km. Which is violation of law and will imvalidates the EC

@BDAOfficialGok This is very nice. But I am curious about one thing - most of this area is no longer part of BDA jurisdiction, is it not? I recall the GBA was notified as the planning body for all the areas in the corporation limits.

@jagadishreddyx @lkatheeq This is not a BDA layout project to give land ratio as compensation, this comes under expressway project, where BDA don’t have authority to collect toll in first place. In 2005 BDA needed 100m ROW so it acquired but now if need 65m ROW so just acquire only this as per 2013 ACT

@lkatheeq Sir, as per new DPR only 68kms of road now with 3 kms being elevated at Hosur Road. For remaining 65 kms, we need 15kms stretch 100m ROW, and only 65m for 50kms stretch . We know BDA won’t denotify itself unless we get orders from court. Which we will get for sure.

Just imagine why only BDA not able to do road from past 20 years, where Hydrabad had done same PRR 15 years back. It’s not few 100 people it’s only due of BDA incompet
