I've signed this petition urging the @chairmanbwssb to put an end to 24 hr water cuts in Bengaluru.. As summer nears, join me and @jhatkaadotorg to ensure adequate water supply for all residents. https://t.co/8gBuosR2Zx
Carpooling can get private vehicles off the road & bring ease during peak hour commute.
Vehicular population has increased by 6,000% since 1990, making Bengaluru, a city with highest vehicle density that commutes at 15kmph.
A ban on car-pooling only encourages congestion, the last thing people of Bengaluru would want to experience.
Karnataka Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989 are outdated & insufficient to meet the needs of present day.
Penalizing citing rules will only add to the mobility crisis in the city.
Karnataka Govt should prioritize 'Quality of Life' over outdated rules & encourage innovation among ridesharing apps to decongest the city.
I have written a letter urging the transport department to reconsider this ban 👇
@Tejasvi_Surya This is the worst government decision first they don’t have proper traffic management and top of it who are doing good and trying to reduce the congestion by offering car pooling they put fines what a pity… I request karantaka/Bangalore government to allow carpools🙏🏼🙏🏼
