I think it’s because of a loophole this season due to the change to the new rules with no European football psr restrictions. Think we can spend 115% of turnover while clubs who qualified for Europe can only spend 70%. Our turnover last year was probably around 750m due to the champions league run so if we’re gonna spend big, this would be the season to do it.
