Vance reminds Americans the plan is for ICE to go "door to door" across the country. The Trump administration's deportation of 2.5 million people in 2025 did not set a record, it only came with new levels of violence, surveillance and civil rights abuses.
🚨NEW: Harvard University President Alan Garber has rejected the Trump Admin's demand to prohibit protests and cut DEI programs to receive funding: "[Harvard] will not negotiate over its independence or constitutional rights."
RETWEET to thank Garber for standing up to Trump!
“No government—regardless of which party is in power—should dictate what private universities can teach, whom they can admit and hire, and which areas of study and inquiry they can pursue.” - President Alan Garber https://t.co/6cQQpcJVTd
The university will not surrender its independence or relinquish its constitutional rights. Neither Harvard nor any other private university can allow itself to be taken over by the federal government. https://t.co/5k5t9RYYC2
Congratulations to Harvard for refusing to relinquish its constitutional rights to Trump’s authoritarianism.
Other universities should follow their lead.
And instead of doing pro bono work for Trump, cowardly law firms should be defending those who believe in the rule of law.
For the record: You cannot have an abortion in the 9th month. You cannot have an abortion after birth. If we didn’t keep banning books, maybe we wouldn’t have to clear that up. #Debate2024
Let’s make a new rule. Anybody who is over 75 years old shouldn’t be running for president.
Anybody who is convicted of a felony shouldn’t be running for president.
Anybody found liable for fraud or sexual assault should not be running for president.
Does this sound fair?
Donald Trump is too old, too convicted, too indicted, too impeached, too much of a rapist, and too much of a psycho to run for president.
The Republicans really should have a conversation amongst themselves to choose a new nominee.
