@EditorTanya Actually, I think it's both – beurré is just more slangy and informal, from what I can tell. Like "hammered" vs "drunk". And now it makes sense to me why beurré is the slang term since it's so close to bourré.
@RachelFudge You were absolutely going to be the one I messaged lol! Luckily, there aren't that many. I think I've got a handle on it now, but that first 15 minutes... WHEW.
@GrammarParty @ACESEditors I think the reality is that there is not a source tracking this! Amazon is best positioned to know and they don’t release any data except, of course, to individual authors. This article has a lot of background on the problems w trying to track ebook sales. https://t.co/WSuaFjYHR3
@LetBlackWomenL1 I don’t think teachers should have been asked to go back before vaccination. But I didn’t feel sure *even in the summer* that my kid would be back to high school in person in the FALL. & I think he could have been back in the spring if the board had prioritized that. They didn’t.
@ClaraJeffery Actual SFUSD parent here and I think this is spot on. I support the school name change effort and addressing the systemic inequalities but I wanted getting kids back in school to be the priority. That was not this board’s priority and they made the budget shortfall worse.
@EditorTanya @lepoole@NikkiBuschEdit @EFAFreelancers @nkjemisin I am analyzing City We Became this month on my blog! Except in the first post I only got as far as the epilogue lol. Can’t wait to dive in further though. It’s even better than I remembered.
@CarolinaMarie_V@TextExpander Ugh! I can say that once you purchase you don’t get messages like these. I love @TextExpander but if I had gotten messages like these during the trial period I would have been out. Please be better. You have a good product – don’t be sleazy.
