@Koprowski_it Yea thankfully I have done a good job guiding the jr dev.
My surprise has been with a mid level dev who has pushed some working but unsavory code over and over even after talking to him about it. Giving me lesser quality code then even the jr. 🤦♂️😬
@_deprogram_ Yup! Hence my dissatisfaction with myself on this front right now. I am new to this and have learned a lot about making sure the team hears every bit of feedback that’s necessary to ensure the code base is of the highest quality.
@ScribblingOn This right here is exactly what has gotten in the way of me giving more constructive feedback to my team of mid and jr level engineers. 😭
@codeFreedomRitr Dev work is definitely a creative medium as much as it is technical. It’s one of the biggest reasons people are challenged by it even 20 years into their career. 💙
Biometric authentication with react native is simpler then I imagined. But adding a secure way to store the data was an extra layer I believed would be included with the library I used. Not the case. no docs talking about using these together either. Time to create my own 🤔
We’ve just released React 16.8 with a stable version of Hooks. React Hooks let you use features like local state and lifecycle without writing a class. They’re fully backwards-compatible and you can start using them today. https://t.co/didbtI06Ie
