Kudos to the lovely team at @HMRCgovuk who helped me navigate confusing letters about my SA tax returns. Super helpful, easily sorted the issue, and got me back up to date with my tax affairs with zero fuss. Turns out the tax man isn't always bad! #excellentcustomerservice

And that's a wrap. 3 years, 5 months, and 15 days ago, I flew into Brussels, and started a new life in a city where I didn't know a single person. Today, I leave a small piece of my heart in 🇧🇪. The best people, the best job, the best hobbies.

Hi @STIBMIVB - how can I report an incident on bus 12 from Bourget to Luxemboug between 8.15 and 8.30pm? Intimidated and threatened by a drunk man who thought I was filming him. I wasn't. Other passengers to intervene to stop him harassing me. Is it possible to get the cctv?

Just over six weeks ago, I was in a cast and couldn't walk. I went back to the UK and was lovingly nursed back to health by my family before returning to Brussels.

Yesterday, I did 25k+ steps around Paris and saw some inspiring Olympic athletes.

Bodies are wild! So grateful.

Hi @Accessorize - did you know your shop at Lakeside Thurrock is not accessible for people in wheelchairs or on mobility scooters? Needs a layout change. Was the only shop which I couldn't get into!

Shopmobility services at @lakeside_tw are excellent. Huge recommend. Enabled me to buy news shoes to help this poor invalid walk again!

When I broke my foot, I didn't have time to sit still. I thought I'd be up and running in days.

Turns out the doctor was right. I'm not superhuman, and it likely will be 1 month of rest and 3 months before full recovery.

It's hard. I'm not made to go slow!

Brilliant treatment at @NHSBartsHealth Whipps Cross hopsital this morning. In and out of A&E in 2.5 hours. All staff were brilliant, from reception to x-ray to the minor injuries unit.

Still definitely broken, but now cast free and with an ugly orthopaedic shoe 🤣🏨🏥

Brussels has been full of firsts, but here's one I didn't want - my first ever broken bone! 2 hours in A&E. A fifth metatarsal break. Out of action for a month 😭. Send speedy healing thoughts, please.
