@kay_desixn @ShrubberNi@getPlasticity Been looking through the youtube video from the announcement of version 1.0. I suspect parametric feature set may not happen for a long time or at all. The dev said more likely to see symmetric modeling/surfacing than parametric stuff in 2.0.
@kay_desixn @ShrubberNi@getPlasticity There is an open issue about parameters and scripts someone created. I think it would be a popular feature. https://t.co/oNUszkFzdf
@kay_desixn @ShrubberNi@getPlasticity Will do, I also see new versions keep coming out but no change log, so not sure if new features or just bug fixes. For now sticking to Alibre Design
Finally finished testing/releasing my first major 3D modeling/#CAD project. This was designed in #alibre Atom3D. It allows an #nvidia Tesla M40 to work in a Desktop. #ai#3dmodel#machinelearning#3dprinting https://t.co/DMUsC75xg1
@steamboat A bit late of a reply, but seeing recent releases on improvement with UI and stability, it's worth a shot especially if it can do what you need to do. Not requiring a browser or internet connection to function is unheard of these days for this kind of software.
@All3DP Thanks for including #alibre in this list, now its my main go to for creating stuff. Compared to the major ones on the list, its nice to find one that you don't have to use in a browser or be stuck on a subscription/account for.
So happy to say https://t.co/4Uth4hocmc is online! 🎉😅
FullControl-python models can be parametrically adjusted by anyone to spit out weird and wonderful GCode
https://t.co/nAIlFreB6o uses pre-made designs - for new designs, python FC will be available later this month 🤓

@ZDP189 Probably be a bit, I'm going to attempt stepper motor driver upgrades and fans in the next few weeks. See how that goes and then move to probably this upgrade next.
@ZDP189 I was considering upgrading to this, but there just isn't a lot of solid info on it (especially wiring). The only non-stock stuff on mine was custom firmware for the mesh leveling. I did reprogram gcode with firmware update, what was the most difficult part?
@ctBobbyDavis Hope so. I do a bit of C#/Javascript troubleshooting with in-house apps at work, but nothing too much from the ground up. Been looking for a solid resource for a while now rather than patchwork.
