Don’t listen to idiots. Code is law. Delegating Ada LP to a DAO elected dRep is fine. If a DAO cannot even do this then it’s functionally useless and the entire value proposition of all these farming tokens is undermined.
A contract can be non-custodial, and still delegate the Ada in it to a dRep.
We need more dReps with high delegation that are domain experts, especially in the core blockchain market that is DeFi; and that have produced meaningful volume and traction onchain. Right now delegation is weighted way too heavily towards social media presence.
How decentralized is Cardano if a big share of stake-pool hosting runs on one cloud provider?
A Messari snapshot estimated 30.1% of Cardano’s active stake was tied to stake-pool infrastructure hosted on AWS (as of 26 May 2023, @MessariCrypto).
We can do better, #Cardano 💪

DMS v0.9.0 is live 🚀
This release is a major step forward in making contracts and payments first-class components of decentralized orchestration.
With DMS v0.9.0, #NuNet introduces:
✅ Cardano support for contract-based payments, expanding multi-chain settlement beyond Ethereum
✅Flexible payment models defined directly in contracts, supporting long-running and resource-based workloads
✅A unified accounting model through contract events, enabling accurate billing and observability
✅Early on-demand provisioning, allowing compute to be provisioned dynamically when deployments are accepted
✅Stronger observability, reliability, and operational hardening across the stack
Together, these changes move DMS closer to a production-ready coordination layer for decentralized compute, supporting use cases like #AI agents, Cardano-based deployments, and continuously running services with predictable execution and payment semantics.

Decentralized compute doesn’t have a hardware problem.
It has a coordination problem.
We’ve just published a new deep-dive on where NuNet fits in the decentralized computing stack — and why orchestration, not ownership, is the missing layer.
In this piece, we explore:
👉why most decentralized compute networks remain narrow and unidimensional,
👉how NuNet enables programmable sub-networks (“organisations”) with their own rules,
👉and what it takes to turn fragmented compute into a real, open economy of computation.
This isn’t theoretical. We’ve also included links to live demos showing #NuNet orchestration running on real devices.
If you’re building in #AI, #DePIN, edge computing, or distributed systems — this one’s for you

Excited to share how NuNet is democratizing AI development! 🤖
Just demonstrated how anyone can fine-tune LLM models (like Llama 3.2 1B) on our decentralized compute network with just a few clicks. What traditionally required expensive cloud infrastructure and complex setup is now accessible through a simple web interface.
Key highlights:
✅ Deploy training jobs in minutes, not hours
✅ Access distributed GPU resources affordably
✅ Fine-tune models with LoRA and 4-bit quantization
✅ Real-time monitoring and logging
✅ One-click deployment and shutdown
This isn't just about making AI training easier - it's about leveling the playing field. When researchers, startups, and developers worldwide can access enterprise-grade compute resources without the enterprise budget, innovation accelerates for everyone.
The future of AI is decentralized, accessible, and community-powered.

🤝 From PoC to Platform: NuNet × Auki
We’ve completed the NuNet × @Auki Proof of Concept, and what it unlocked goes far beyond simplifying node deployment
What began as a practical challenge (making Auki nodes accessible to non-technical users) evolved into a validated orchestration layer for decentralized compute, one capable of powering spatial computing, #robotics,
#AI inference, and future #DePIN workloads on shared, community-owned infrastructure.
Through the NuNet Appliance, we demonstrated:
✅ Consumer-grade onboarding for decentralized infrastructure
✅A consistent, cross-platform runtime environment
✅Early dynamic, on-demand deployment of real workloads
✅A foundation for elastic, shared GPU and compute pools
This PoC is not a prototype — it’s a blueprint.
As spatial computing, robotics, and AI accelerate, the need for decentralized, elastic compute becomes inevitable. #NuNet is building that layer, and this milestone shows it working.

BREAKING NEWS:
MINSWAP AND SUNDAESWAP DRIVE UNPRECEDENTED TRADING ON CARDANO 😱😱😱
@IOHK_Charles says Minswap and SundaeSwap are actually a meaningful percentage of $NIGHT trading volume, for the first time ever on any asset in the Cardano ecosystem, with respect to large exchanges.
One Cloudflare outage just froze Coinbase, Kraken and Upbit — a reminder that Web3 is still running on Web2 bones.
@nunet_global is the shift we need: a true DePIN compute layer where thousands of distributed devices form a self-healing network that doesn’t go down when one company does.
Resilient. Peer-to-peer.
This is the compute backbone Web3 has been waiting for.
