@Akintola_steve I think it's important to understand the company culture first. Why is everyone leaving and for those left behind, why did they stay back. Identify what worked, what's working, what needs fixing and what needs to go. It's one step at a time
The interesting story here is that Africa’s richest men, both Nigerian, have not built their wealth owning natural resource like oil.
They’ve done it via cement, flour mills, and hard work
Africa won’t get rich from natural resources, it will get rich from human capital
@ByTheGray@Thazhigilla_ Don't mind him. Alot of people often fail to realize that our need to survive often blur the lines as to what we regard as abuse. What a slave girl would tolerate, a 2yr old child will never. Our positioning in life can change everything and how people treat us
Often times, the behaviors we label as being strict or principled are just individuals who lack humanity and compassion. Would this same prof act rudely to someone who doesn't need anything from him? If no, then he's just evil. It's time we accord some behaviours their true title
Never give a Professor or a Consultant a reason to mark your face. If they dislike you, you might never pass, and they will never fail you directly.
I remember when I called my Mentor to congratulate him on finally becoming a Conzo. He asked where I saw the news and told me to send a WhatsApp screenshot. I feared this man like a deity. By the time I checked, most statuses had expired. I only found one from our group chat, but it came with a very risky caption attached: "Abeg Simon congratulate this man, make e no make our test hard o."
If I sent that screenshot, I knew he would hunt down the sender. So I froze and simply never sent it.
Monday morning, I went to his office. I genuinely admired this man and his work rate. He looked at me coldly and said I blatantly ignored a direct instruction. I begged and left, thinking everything had been settled.
Later in class, he was teaching and mentioned the total number of bones in the skull. The figure was inconsistent with what I had studied (his source apparently excluded the mandible and ear ossicles). I brought out my phone just to verify the anatomy.
He had a strict no-phone rule. Normally, he would seize it and return it later. But because he was already gunning for me, he exploded. He confiscated the phone and marched me right out of the class.
I begged him three different times that day. He did not budge. I shed premium tears that day. I had no laptop, three major tests breathing down my neck, and the sheer pressure had me contemplating suicide. He held that phone hostage for two straight weeks😹
Omo, every single class after that, he was brutally hard on me. It got so bad my coursemates started asking what exactly I did to offend him. The worst part was a Professor/Father-Figure called me privately and said the faculty was discussing how I had suddenly become "stubborn" and disruptive. Just like that, my reputation was hijacked. I went from being the prospective Rep of the Year to feeling like the absolute worst Class Rep in history.
I could write a whole book on this, but the truth is I still respect the man. Till today, he is still my friend and a strictly principled Chief.
But the lesson is written in blood: Never cross into their lane.
@AdewunmiGbeng14@madonnite The presence of crisis doesn't make a govt or administration a failure. How did they manage that crisis? What was the outcome? How did it impact the economy and international perception of the country. Answers to these questions are what determine the scorecard of the govt
Pictures like these makes people glorify suffering. That you suffered doesn't still guarantee that you will be successful. Suffering because you're foolish and suffering because of the complexity of the task are two different things. Choose your suffering wisely.
@Nsikak_Ndak@tchaloyi Lol.. He thinks this is Chuck Norris movie. On this war o, the US has lost cuz you're not just fighting a single person, you're fighting an idealogy and one operating a samson mission.
Lol. Unfortunately, this move may be the very thing that tears the ruling party apart. While it may favor the incumbent because of the influence he wield across the party, it may not favor whoever may be planning to take over from him and what may trigger it's implosion
This thing APC did in the new electoral act is pure genius.
1 - Removed the delegate system from our laws so money bags can’t do much.
2 - Left direct primaries and consensus so its either you are loved by people and they can gauge your level of acceptance or you do consensus where there will be aggrieved contestants who will work against your party cos it edged them out.
Any party wey hin leg no stand well for ground go too feel am.
Nigerians are funny. Ur sitting president is literally begging the court not to release his certificate, citing irreparable damage if released but suddenly lying would tarnish elrufai's image. Lol. People that lacks scruples
If this matter goes to trial, El-Rufai would have only two options: he can either maintain in court that what he said on Arise TV regarding wiretapping the NSA is true, which would amount to an effective confession to a crime - or say that he lied on national television.
I’m not sure which would be worse for him.
I was a little skeptical of the guy considering the number of times he contested before he eventually won. Seems a little desperate but nah, the guy really tried considering the complexity of oyo state polity. His administrative, technocratic and political sagacity came to fore
Each passing day, I think I now understand why, throughout the scriptures, there are almost no accounts recorded of God dealing with women or giving them instructions. Very certain he couldn't afford you guys frustrating him or wasting his time.
Some men will carry you when your feet hurt.
Others will stand there and say, “I warned you about those heels.”
If he lectures you when you’re in pain, he’s not your person.
The right one lifts first. Talks later.
The Nigerian President seems to have done more damage to Nigerian economy from his appointments of individuals into various key positions and MDAs than even from his flip flop policies
EXCLUSIVE: Promotion of Tinubu's ADC shelved as retired generals intervene
The controversial plan to decorate Nurudeen Yusuf, aide-de-camp (ADC) to President Bola Tinubu, as a one-star general on Monday evening was shelved at the last minute after an intervention by two former chiefs of army staff, TheCable understands.
Yusuf, who was only decorated as a colonel last January, was to be promoted to the rank of brigadier-general through “special presidential promotion”.
Under normal process, an officer has to be a colonel for at least four years after which he or she will attend the National Defence College (NDC) before they are considered for promotion.
The approval to bypass the process was conveyed in a letter from the office of the national security adviser (NSA) to the chief of army staff.

Nah.. This is a dumb take. How did he help actually? Create business along the upstream or downstream value chain or just Federal appointments with no productivity?
Lol. He should stop talking so they'll kpai his investment? When the bible said the heart of man is desperately wicked, am certain he was referring to Nigerians. When you build your own biz with your personal funds and credit, you can decide to go mute
@fbi_initials I think Dangote is unravelling tho..
There's just something off about him recently, might be stress or what ever.
But he needs to stop talking for a while imho
get in. So it's also revenue for the organisation. It also communicates value for time.
3. Observed the SSL certificate is expired or not active. A website of this importance shouldnt be missing one.
Despite these shortcomings, still a great job by the organisation
While we appreciate the efforts of our Nigerian military, some few suggestions that help improve the branding and integrity of the institution
1. The portal should have been hosted on a subdomain of the institution eg https://t.co/iqciM01UkL
This gives confidence to applicant
Application for Admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy 78 Regular Course Begins Tomorrow Friday 28 November 2025.
Visit https://t.co/ASrAQOleV5 to apply
they are actually using the organisation website.
2. Observed the website takes so long to load the first page. This can be quite frustrating to applicants. Even though we are doing them a favor by giving them employment, the application also isn't free and not everyone will
@TheAjakeManger No wrds wer carefully picked. He said it as it ought to be. Any way he says it, you ppl will still find fault with his words. If he had said the Islamic terrorists, y'all will still fault him. If he had kept quiet, y'all will still talk. You pple are actually worse than the govt
