The 10-day-forecast suggests the British heat wave will dip, and then return.
Forecasting that far out always needs significant caveats.
What I would say is - imagining the weather in London in, say, 10 years is genuinely frightening.
We’re in a lot of trouble.
OK - I’ve done similar before but prior to my imminent holiday, I thought I would leave you with a new short video. I hope you enjoy it and would ask that you please retweet it (is that still a thing?) far and wide - Thank you ALL for following - I’ll be back with you in a few weeks…

It’s just gone 9am & it’s unbearably hot outside my home in Milton Keynes with horrendous humidity it just takes your breath away. Back locked into the living room area with the portable air conditioner on full blast until sun down. This is not living it’s just surviving, the physical & mental health impact of these heat waves will have a huge impact across society #Heatwave
Absolutely fabulous free episode for the cheapskates out there who haven’t joined the Chit-Chat Club yet. I’m joined by Sam the puppet. Paul Zerdin has a chat too. Don’t miss this one. And don’t miss the next show at The London Hippodrome on 3rd August. https://t.co/D34Ap8QQ4U for tickets. Check your favourite podcast app
BT pension scheme wrote-off £300m share stake in Thames Water.
It acquired shares in 2012. Extracted returns, didn't do anything to curb sewage dumping, water leaks, high bills, exec pay (all affects its members).
No interest in social responsibility.

If everyone loses their jobs to AI and stops earning income, how are these companies supposed to generate revenue if no one can afford their services? Doesn’t the whole system just collapse? I honestly don’t understand what’s happening.
Remember when they sold us the slogan, “Go paperless, save trees, save the planet”?
Now we've gone digital, and it's consuming enormous amounts of water, destroying ecosystems, harming bees, and contributing to environmental damage on a scale paper never did.
Hello, it’s Ashley Storrie, Godley spawn. I just came on x to look for some info in mum’s old messages.
She really wanted me to keep her Twitter alive, I really wanted her to delete it and now I’m a weird limbo. I’ve been cutting up old clips of our live streams- so here you go
"Environment Agency accused of 'lip-service' on sewage crisis after downgrading 96% of serious pollution incidents."
Yep you read that correctly, not only has the EA being allowing water companies to mark their own homework they've being joining in the fun down grading the most serious pollution incidents to get them off their books, close the files and hope no-one notices.
Well, they've been caught.

"Thames Water lifeline ‘not enough’ to avert state takeover."
Thames Water has been bankrupt for years and customers have been paying for their own exploitation. Govt needs to end it, TODAY!
