https://t.co/xYYyqhlNSL not sure who's left on Sci Twitter, but our paper on in vitro toxicity from artificial turf materials is out in ETAP! we found some striking differences between weathered and non-weathered samples, and hope to unveil in vivo and exposure angles soon :-)
@okonski_s Went straight from UG to a program/field I thought I "had" to for misguided reasons - left after 2 years, landed a CRO job for 3 that informs my current field/PhD + rolodex. Current situation is much better! Not PhDing right after UG can be beneficial!
Grateful to @SOToxicology for the opportunity to give a talk (!!!) at #SOT2024! Start your Wednesday bright'n'early not working out on turf, but learning what their chemicals could do to our endocrine and cardiometabolic systems!
@kdc509 Reiterating Chicago and MSP but also adding that midwest adjacent Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and Rochester all have their charms (and buf + rochester have wegmans)!
See ya in a bit, Detroit - excited for #SOT2023 (my first @SOToxicology!), to meet the cool peeps in our field, and share some of the science I've been working on with @cdkassotis! (ft. pharmacology notes lol)
