Villains are not born. They are made.
I’ve realized the problem isn’t that people don’t know basic civic sense.
It’s that we’ve collectively decided it doesn’t matter.
When nobody expects accountability, bad behavior becomes culture.
This video is from the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway.
The expressway has four lanes, and truck drivers are driving in all four lanes. All the lanes are blocked by trucks.
As a result, people traveling by car on the expressway are facing a lot of inconvenience, as they are unable to overtake from any lane.
In reality, truck drivers are supposed to use a designated lane on the expressway, yet they are driving across all the lanes.
We can build world-class expressways, but without civic sense, even the best infrastructure becomes ineffective.
This is water 🚰 from our society this week
No added preservatives, that’s exactly the colour of water delivered by tankers
We pay ~70L every year for water tankers, if this is the situation for us … imagine what the restaurants and roadside eateries are getting
A silent health pandemic is awaiting in Pune. With this type of water for chores and drinking, very soon health, skin diseases, water borne diseases will follow
The condition is pathetic after paying 1-1.5Cr for flats and have to live in such circumstances

How babus harm Indian Engineers:
I ran a US based startup. My engineering team was in India. Not in Bangalore or Delhi, but scattered across small towns and villages around UP/Bihar/Assam.
They were some of the best engineers I have worked with anywhere. The only thing they lacked was the ability to speak English like someone who went to a Delhi private school. That one accident of birth kept them off the rosters of every shiny startup.
I turned that into an advantage. I go find them. And I pay them exactly what an English-speaking engineer in Bangalore would get, without making them move. Same code, same salary. English fluency was never the skill I was hiring for.
Now I wanted to give them what my US team members had: ownership. A real piece of what they were building. For a young dude from a village in Gonda or Chapra, that can be generational, life-changing money when we exit.
But I could’t.
The moment an Indian employee exercise their options (convert them to shares), without selling anything they get taxed on the paper gain as salary (I have heard it could be as high as 42%). For a private company, no buyer, no liquidity, no cash. But they get slapped with a tax bill, sometimes larger than their salary, on money they haven't earned.
So, if I gave them equity, the choice I wd have forced on those engineers was: pay lakhs out of pocket for shares they can't sell, or give up the equity.
In the US employees pay nothing until they sell, and if they hold long enough, they may pay almost nothing at all (federal).
I have heard that in India , there is a "deferral" now. But if my info is correct, it covers ~2% of startups. Like most other startups, mine wont qualify.
The fix is one line: tax the shares when they are sold, not when they are bought. Every developed country does it. India could do it tomorrow but it does not.
Why?
Due to babus (not Nirmala S).
so far this june, half of India (entire north india) had below normal temps (green shades 2nd row), while other half had above normal temps (yellow shades). Heatwaves are missing from north india this june due to frequent rain. source: IMD
The Govt has banned Telegram in India until June 22 over the use of the app by 'cheating rackets' for NEET-UG.
The Babu or the minister whose "big brain" idea this was should get the Param-Chaantt award.
They are assuming that the cheating network and their clients don't understand what a VPN is and can't access Telegram through one.
They think that because the paper was shared on Telegram last time, if it is leaked, it will only be shared on Telegram again. Are Discord, Signal, and WhatsApp a joke to them?
So, why not make your system foolproof and make leaks impossible instead of banning a mode of communication? Because it's a slippery slope. If the paper leaks and is shared tomorrow, you'll ban other apps too, and eventually the whole internet. But then again, papers were leaked and shared long before the internet era, too.

Instead of promoting the "Beta Badhao Yojna" if only Nitin Gadkari ji did his job as the Minister of Road Transport and Highways, made decent roads & ensured trucks drive in the correct lane on highways we would save over 𝐑𝐬 𝟑 𝐋𝐀𝐂 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐒 & 𝐒𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐒 !

Watch | In a viral reel, a vigilant citizen has highlighted the alleged unchecked movement of dumper trucks on Ahmedabad's Riverfront road, where heavy vehicles, three-wheelers and commercial vehicles are prohibited. The video also shows that the dumper trucks are operating without number plates.
𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 #𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝟐 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐬. : If INDIA truly wants to cut fuel import bills by Rs 3 lakh crores, all we have to do is build decent roads, proper infrastructure & remove encroachments. But contractors pay netas their cut money & encroachers who cause traffic jams are vote banks of netas. We are told ethanol is “good for the environment” but to produce 1 litre of ethanol it takes 2500-3500 litres of water at sugar mills or above 10,000 litres per litre at rice mills! This when the country is facing water shortage. How is this good for anyone except the netas? Most ethanol distilleries are owned by netas, for example Nitin Gadkari ji’s son! And please tell me how is Gadkari ji announcing ethanol policy when he is neither the Petroleum Minister, nor Agriculture Minister, nor Industry Minister? We the people pay full price for our vehicles + road tax + insurance + tolls + GST on spares… and in return we get pathetic roads, terrible infrastructure & now forced ethanol-blended fuel that kills mileage & damages engines. Meanwhile netas with direct conflict of interest are minting crores & crores and the poor hardworking honest INDIAN suffers as most Indian vehicles aren’t even E20 compatible yet Nitin Gadkari ji is forcing these ethanol norms on us as if we are lab rats!

Hahaha.. have you ever used a public toilet in India.
The reason restaurants are compelled to open their restrooms for anyone is we don’t have enough public restrooms and whatever we have is filthy.
Things that we take for granted in India!
I was in London last week, in a decent touristy area.
I wanted to use the washroom & when I couldn't find a public one, I went to a few restaurants.
To my surprise, almost all had signs that only their customers can use the loo.
Finally, one allowed me after getting me to give them a 5 star review on Google! Lol!
On the other hand, here in Bangalore I can walk into any restaurant or cafe, use their washroom, get a glass of free drinking water and not be their customer!
Here is a photo that I took at one such London restaurant.
Guys again posting how my CAR is being damaged with E20 or E20+
