2/ MPL is not being looked at only as matches, players and a trophy
It is being looked at as something that can be built better
Governance. Finance. Operations. Player visibility
The invisible systems that decide how professionally a league can run
As an early 0-1 starter you cannot gather an audience and then figure what to build for them unless you have lot of money, large team or a lot of time.
This is usually the best way:
- find a specific problem
- build a solution
- reach out to only relevant folks
I think the only way to do this is to build products rooted in fundamentally good research & understanding of need gaps.
Like, why are we building products and then figuring out if someone needs it?
Why is 'product-market fit' a thing at all in the first place?
Shouldn't we be building products that solve specific problems for specific kinds of customers?
Do that, and we achieve PMF, right?
One big stage reaches millions but means nothing to most. Fifty small rooms mean everything to the right people.
The brands that win the next decade won't be the loudest.
They'll be the ones most attentive with the RIGHT AUDIENCE.
If you're building a brand in D2C, tech, or AI, whatever, this may be worth some attention.
Offline connections & outdoor meetups will experience the most significant and highest spikes in the coming years.
I'll tell you why and what you can do as a brand.
WHEN YOU DO THIS, as a brand, you will end up:
- hearing out every customer (call it first hand market research)
- making them feel valued
- making them your unofficial brand ambassador
- helping people find their partners in the name of networking ;)
Today, we're launching Nue Health, India's most affordable preventative healthcare membership.
This all first started when I heard Nithin Kamath had suffered a heart attack - someone who cared so much about health and fitness. How was this possible?
We're constantly told that we hit our "quarter life crisis" at 25 - which means we're all supposed to live till a 100 right?
Then why was I seeing so many people succumb to cancer and cardiac arrests in their 30's and 40's?
Something didn't add up.
I dug deep - there had to be a way to see this coming.
Why was everyone in the dark about what was happening inside their body?
This is when I realised that health is an extremely fragmented and uncertain experience in India.
People don't know what biomarkers to test, what to do with an 18 page blood test report, how to connect these results over time and exactly what they needed to do to improve their health.
They had the data, but they didn't know what to do with it.
We put our heads down and started building. We learnt every single thing there is to know about the space. Got engineers and researchers from Princeton onto the team - people who've been into biology since they were 14.
We're building a digital twin of the human body for every Indian - one single blood panel tested every 6 months, combined with your wearable and nutrition data, and a doctor verified action protocol so you know exactly what's happening inside your body at all times and what you need to do to improve it.
We're building a new kind of healthcare :
one that that doesn't wait for you to get sick before taking action.
one that helps you understand your unique biology.
one that India truly deserves.

Anyone who knows me knows exactly how hard we've been working for the past 7 months to get this out.
The only reason it took this long was because we wanted to have absolutely zero compromise on quality - in terms of UI/UX, medical accuracy or the blood testing experience itself.
Tomorrow, we are going to be launching the website and the waitlist for what we know is going to be the best healthcare application in India.
We are going to make waves so huge that the entire industry will have no choice but to take notice.
Health has been reactive for far too long - and the traditional healthcare system (hospitals, insurance etc) makes billions of dollars off of you every year because of this.
No longer.
This revolution is a fight against the exploitative system that treats us as numbers on an excel sheet.
