He said buying that fuel at those prices was NOT sustainable for the airline.

He warned that if they were forced to comply —

That’s 5% of Constables, not the 1% figure they continually throw your way.

Not one rogue cop.

Not a mistake.

Intentional.

A systematic failure.

If you corrupt the promotion process, you don’t just promote rank, you promote culture. A culture where it’s OK to bend the rules the rest of us have to live by.

Why does it matter?

Promotions shape command culture for years.
Compromise the pipeline and you embed loyalty networks, favouritism, and corruption tolerance.

If an officer is willing to break the rules and cheat, I guarantee that person will be willing to bend the rules and cheat for subordinates once promoted.

That culture runs the organisation, and its issues like this that lead to bigger problems.
