We need to be very careful with our words when speaking on Palestine. The language oppressors choose to use is intentional.

When we think about the fact that ppl in North Gaza was told to “evacuate” for example. When do WE typically use that term? If there’s a danger OUTSIDE OF OUR CONTROL. So maybe we evacuate a building during a fire or gas leak. Maybe we evacuate a city if there’s a hurricane…but if I come into your house ARMED TO THE TEETH and tell you “you have .0345 seconds (an unrealistic amount of time) to get out or I’m going to take your life” that’s NOT me evacuating you. That’s a fucking death threat.
