Wouldn't have met my fiancé 7 years ago if it wasn't for BvS. Snyder showed me how much storytelling can fit into one frame. Zimmer & Junkie XL's score have kept me in shape. Terrio inspired me to write a 130k manuscript. Forever grateful for this beast of a film.

The concept of a three-hour documentary in its second weekend outgrossing a DC film in its opening weekend…I actually love it…

Far right groups are setting fire to hotels and housing and damaging shops. Politicians and the media can openly make racist, Islamophobic and sexist comments, and Black and brown students are reportedly facing rising levels of racism. Yet criticism of Israel in the classroom is what’s being prioritised for punishment.

Yeah Superman, Supergirl and Clayface together are probably not going to match BvS $873M

RJ Mitte. Man, don't think I'll be able to stomach this passing for a while. The kindest souls aren't built for the kind of world we're living in.

Bryan Cranston has written a tribute for his ‘Breaking Bad’ on-screen son RJ Mitte who tragically passed away due to suicide.

“We were texting each other just a few weeks ago - figuring out when we could meet for lunch. I don't know if that lunch would have changed his future... But I do know that I loved him.”

Am amazed -- and fascinated by this saga -- b/c it speaks to need to end Americans' gushing love of celebs.

Imagine rarely using social media (speaking out about wars, children starving, deportations, animal abuse, etc? Nah!) and instead deciding to using it to... bitch about a working-class employee being, at worst, snobbish towards you. Oh, and when you were trying to buy a $15,000 novelty singing bird (so relatable).

We do not hate celebrities enough.

Ben Affleck criticizes the studio “tensions” over which version of Zack Snyder’s “Justice League” to release:

“It’s a very bad way, in my opinion, to make a movie because it doesn’t work well by committee. I think that was a little bit of what happened on that movie, and [Snyder] deftly navigated that in a fun way. That was very satisfying, particularly since that was such a hard movie to do. It was really nice to see him feel gratified to get to do his vision of the movie.”

The Last Jedi's negative backlash ruined Hollywood blockbusters forever and what's even worse is the on top of that The Last Jedi was actually just not very good so there's just nothing gained from this movie

Here's how to fix this:

Keep SPIDER-MAN 5 street level
Put Daredevil front and centre
He teams up with Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist
Rename the movie to DEFENDERS

[DiscussingFilm @DiscussingFilm]

An early story draft for ‘SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY’ included Daredevil.

“After leaving New York City to be a hero in Southeast Asia, Spider-Man sees a video of an imposter back home and hires Matt Murdock to fight the cease-and-desist he receives from the imposter.”
