🚨 BREAKING: Machete attack in Truro city centre.

Armed police and ambulance crews rushed to Calenick Street in Truro, Cornwall this afternoon after a large fight involving a machete.

• Incident reported around 1.45pm Monday
• One man suffered a potentially serious injury
• Two others sustained minor injuries
• Two men in their 20s arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent – both remain in custody

Police say those involved are believed to be known to each other and there is no wider risk to the public.

A cordon was put in place near Burger King / Moorfield as officers secured the scene.
