@Odd_Cinderella @gnabnahcbutt I'm an 89 liner as well , so i guess I'm also 8 years older .... And can't count apparently 😂

[Mepassistant (Quentin) @mepassistants]

So the country that...

*check notes*

- Threatened to invade European territory for a month
- Implied multiple times that it might not support militarily its NATO allies in case of invasion
- Launched a trade war specifically because it was unhappy Americans were buying European products rather than US
- Sabotaged military contracts of European allies (only to fail to deliver on its own promises)
- Has extensive legislation itself mandating US administration to buy American

...is now complaining that Europe dares to prioritize its own industry to reduce its military reliance on a partner that has been less and less behaving like an ally and increasingly as a threat.

Yeah, thanks for your input, we'll put it into our pocket reserved for the very important stuff.

@jeonginlli @gnabnahcbutt I just realise your pfp 😂. Hello fellow StayViP

[Krys 🌈🖤 @krys_hobbit]

@jeonginlli @gnabnahcbutt Yes and ? Kpop didn't start yesterday you know ? 😂
Like my ult bias is actually 1 year older than me ( that's GD, in case you're wondering)

@Catscatsya @axiochrono @ProudBavaria That's the thing really, it's not rudeness, it's just difference of culture. What you consider "attentive" is considered annoying by most europeans, aka the majority of those waiters customers.

[Krys 🌈🖤 @krys_hobbit]

@Catscatsya @axiochrono @ProudBavaria A waiter checking your drink to see if it's empty is just not a thing here.
Either you ask for a pitcher, or you ask for another drink. We don't like a waiter watching us like a hawk, or bothering us while we eat, even just to "check on us". If we want something, we ask, simple.

Americans love to say, "We are better than this."

When?

During slavery?

During Jim Crow?

During Vietnam?

During coups in Latin America?

During Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Palestine?

At what exact point was this mythical moral golden age?

Maybe the problem is not that they fell from greatness.

Maybe the problem is that the greatness was always propaganda.

@finzandfangs @JamesTate121 The only countries on the planet without universal healthcare are you , and a bunch of small third-world countries. Hell there's even third world countries that DO provide it. China has 2billion people, and a better system than yours. What's your excuse?

[Krys 🌈🖤 @krys_hobbit]

@finzandfangs @JamesTate121 Again europe ALSO has people paying zero tax. More people , more tax collected , no matter the country .
Ffs there's only 43 country in the world without Free healthcare. 43! You think you're the only big country on the planet? No , but yet you're the only one WITHOUT it.

[Krys 🌈🖤 @krys_hobbit]

@Mr_Bearnaise @JamesTate121 We definitely do. I guess it's some rest of our revolutionary ancestors 😅

[Krys 🌈🖤 @krys_hobbit]

@Mr_Bearnaise @JamesTate121 I'm french ,hating on my government is in my DNA. Yet i STILL would rather put my trust in it , than in greedy private organisations.
