Queues for Kafka (KIP-932), my biggest ask for Apache Kafka since joining Confluent. Really excited about this one. It's not just queue semantics, but queues which can do replay.

@alexxubyte I would think streaming platforms like Kafka and pulsar are built to handle constant stream of huge volume of data with an option to store that data, where as the concerns of a messaging platform is better suited to process less volumes
Folks - I know the @VMwareTanzu AMA was awesome today but I just got even better news; 5 minutes ago. My oldest son was just accepted to UNC! Now I just need to sync up with @UNCCloudApps and get them on Tanzu!!!!
TAP is what would happen if Spring and k8s had a child that inherited the superpowers of both parents. Elegance and IOC model of Spring w/ modularity and intent driven reconciliation of k8s. Very proud of the whole team!

This paper has been on my reading list for months, but only today started reading it.
It’s an absolute delight. The best insight: the “simplest” solutions (single shard with no replicas) are often the most popular among developers.
Will review properly once I’m done reading it.
