Before Spring Break, I challenged my kinders to share a Bible story we learned with another person. When we got back, those who did shared who they spoke to. Many asked me if I shared. Teaching K is beautiful, challenging, & humbling. #iamgoing#iteachk#agreatcommissionclassroom
Seeing so many graduation photos on social media this weekend! Congrats to all @sebts grads, especially the women who faithfully pursued theological education to be better teachers of the bible in their contexts! #iamgoing#sebts#womeninseminary
@meredithcook716 I love this! My kindergarten class prays for UPGs and I regularly talk to them about being on mission right here in Raleigh. Which also challenges me in EV!
We celebrated the 100th day of school. 100 days of learning but 100 days of praying for UPGs, missionaries, international church planting, & bible translation. My kinders are so curious about each people group! #iamgoing#forthecause#sebtsalumni#iteachk @SEBTSAlumni
I was so encouraged to hear from several parents at conferences that praying for unreached people groups has started conversations in the home. At least one child asks to pray for our UPGs at home also. #everyclassroomagreatcommissionclassroom
Praying for unreached people groups with my Kindergarten class has been a sweet daily routine. I didn't know when I decided to do this that it would bring up questions about key gospel tenets. One student this week asked if God created people to not believe in him. Yeesh.
There's something about looking at the list every day and reading that a people group has a population of 1 million and is 0% Evangelical and 0% Christian. It is a reminder that God is patient with us.
This year my kindergarten class and I are praying for unreached people groups from @joshuaproject and I list them in the class newsletter so families can pray at home also. #everyclassroomagreatcommissionclassroom @SEBTSAlumni
My wife’s school district only gave its teachers $50 for classroom supplies and then sent an email that said supplies gathered via Amazon wishlists or gofundmes are not approved and any of those supplies used become “classroom inventory.”
It’s rough out here for teachers.
@crosby_katie Someone told me today: “X has a family. It will be good for them to have a FT job with benefits.”
Everyone needs health insurance no matter their marital status. 😒
Got that degree today!! The ceremony was emotional. I have loved every minute of my time at @SEBTS, my classes, my community, my church, my friends have been incredible. I’m proud of my accomplishments but sad for this chapter to end.
Thankful for the guilty verdict, joyous for justice, grieved at how wickedness and wrongdoing took a life and ruined families, and praying for the Floyd and Chauvin family because they will be forever changed.
Good morning and happy Easter! The tomb is empty! Jesus is alive!

I’ve heard there are many layers to these movies which is fabulous! I’m sure I’ve only scratched the surface after the first watch. Now that I know the basic plot and who all the characters are, I’m sure the next viewing will be great in a different way. #LOTR
And that’s a wrap! This trilogy was beautiful in so many ways. The relationships on display were so incredible. So many themes being developed. The biggest take away is that this seems like a trilogy to watch again and again.
