@RealJamesWoods Is it possible that due to a power failure, when the pilots deployed the flaps, they did not actually get set to the required position, the warning system also failed to report the same and the pilots took off. Same for the landing gear, they tried but no power!

@IvensDad 2. If they accidentally retracted the flaps, isn't there any warning system to alert that the flaps are not at the ideal position corresponding to speed/altitude.

1. Is it possible that prior to takeoff the pilots had set the flaps to the correct position, however due to a system's malfunction (power), they were reported a false positive (hence no warnings and takeoff)

@_soniashenoy You get standard deduction of 75k ONLY if its a salary income. The 87A rebate is available IF your taxable annual income is till 12 lacs. So basically salaried people can get both 87A and SD making their tax free upper limit as 12.75lpa.

@akshat21_ @nakulvibhor @FI_InvestIndia This is incorrect. The tax rebate is under 87A, standard deduction is a flat discount to salaried employees. So effectively their tax free upper limit becomes 12.75 lacs.
