You know how there are words, you should know how to spell, because you use it a lot but you forget - mine is matrices. I always want to write matricies
Wow there is a plot digitizer website that can do what old plot digitizer took me like...significantly longer to figure out back when starting my PhD. I feel dated π
@steveplusplus_ This is really interesting work! I'm looking forward to learning more, and have a potentially naive question: can this be used maybe for some problems solved with "traditional" eulerian-lagrangian simulations (like multiphase problems for spray applications)?
@loiseau_jc That's possible; I'm resolving the fundamental frequency (and harmonics) quite well, but for what should be a neutrally-stable system I have unstable growth rates. I might try increasing temporal resolution, thanks!
Sharing a completely meaningless plot of the first two mode coefficients for a simple oscillator system, just because I like how it looks π (I was trying to get a projection based model to work with the so-called shift mode...my attempts made it worse, actually)
@mana_manatunga Oh this is a very true graphic! Yes do not stay too long there, I learned it is best to reach out to others when at such a low, so always feel free to! We definitely are and I am looking forward to the future π
A goal for me before the end of 2021 is to become proficient in the differences between machine learning/neural networks/deep neural networks, & to learn more about which models are best suited for different kinds of problems. Want to hold myself to it! #machinelearninggoals
