Growing up I had 2gigs pentium processor pc never got to play AAA games:( So Storm is for every inner child who couldnt help but watch all the gameplays on youtube, bc we couldnt get that pc upgrade needed for the new game.

Ive been playing Witcher 3, Black Myth: Wukong the past few months now, 10/10.

e/acc is dying by the way. even though it is right, thousands and thousands of graduating students are booing at commencement speeches at tech people for even *mentioning* AI.

as convinced as tech is of it, people HATE AI. HATE. that’s a huge problem. it is our fault. we do not take the other side seriously enough. we declared far too early a victory over safetyism. we did not actually get this outside a niche part of X. no one thought about how to get people outside of the current policy makers, who can change, and SF, a weird sample not representing the rest of the country, to recognize the real value here.

we are at the danger of being in a massive echo chamber that, in a couple of years, can lead to all the regulations we are happy we avoided.

kids graduating from college do not see its importance. if you think that will not matter in a couple years, you are insane. e/acc is too disruptive and concentrated a movement to be seen by anyone outside of a niche corner of X.

the only way to break that narrative is to get people to see the positive of accelerating. the things that matter to people:

- making drugs that cure diseases
- solving problems that get people excited and not scared for the future
- taking the approach of Artemis II - showing people that this is great for scientific exploration and for reality
- making AI abundance a real discussion past a party line
- getting people to stop fearing that jobs will stop existing and coming to the actual reality of the future, which is abundance

as long as we cannot express to even kids graduating college, that they are wrong because they are not seeing the best things to come from AI; solving hard problems and saving people and so on, we are fragile and mostly talking to ourselves.

it is time to humble down and address the real fears people have about their livelihood. or in a few years, anything can happen and we won’t be able to stop it.
