I voted to cut your property taxes. Harris County took the savings back.
In 2023 and 2025, we delivered historic, property tax relief—cutting school taxes and putting more state dollars into public education.
But when Harris County hike their tax rate, that relief disappears and that’s wrong.
State tax relief should mean LOWER tax bills. Period.
It’s time for stronger transparency, accountability, and real limits on local tax increases. #txlege #hd133

Last week, I had the opportunity to speak at the Houston Region Business Coalition (HRBC) luncheon. As Houston’s premier business coalition, @HRBC1 is doing incredible work to advocate for policies that strengthen our local economy and support job growth. #txlege
Hats off to @houstonpolice OSSO—the Organization of Spanish-Speaking Officers—on their 2025 Annual Boots, Badges & Bling Scholarship Gala to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. What an amazing story and tribute to the Calderon family, whose six brothers served as HPD officers—all at one time—starting in the mid-1970’s! Shout out to Mayor @whitmire_john and @MattressMack for their meaningful remarks. Finally—Just the facts: Sonia Rivera and OSSO President Gabriel Garcia know how to throw a party. Thank you for all you do for our community—protect, serve and help educate the next generation. #BacktheBlue #HD133 #txlege
I'm the only candidate for Attorney General who has prosecuted criminals, sentenced them as a judge, and written the laws that keep them behind bars. This isn't theory for me - it's my life's work. Texas deserves an Attorney General with real experience. I talked with @TexasScorecard about my record and why I'm the best candidate in the race to be the next Texas Attorney General. https://t.co/dF44eOX8Zd
Great to be in Kilgore last week with many friends at the East Texas Sheriff’s meeting. As your next Attorney General, I’ll continue working with all law enforcement to fight criminals and build safer communities.
When I am Texas Attorney General I will enforce laws that protect our families, and keep Texans safe. I wrote and passed the Texas law to remove rogue prosecutors who refuse to enforce the law. I know from my experience as a former prosecutor, a District Judge and Texas Senator these Soros-funded Democrats won't give criminals the punishment they deserve. See why I'm the most experienced candidate in this race at https://t.co/AR2FMRKk7w
As your next Attorney General, I will use my experience as a prosecutor, district judge and Conservative Leader in the Texas Senate to fight to secure the border, protect our elections, strengthen public safety, protect life and fight for the people of Texas and their freedoms in the courtroom and beyond.
Important legislative letter signed by 6 delegation members addressed to Harris County Commissioners Court about HCTRAs $100's of Millions of Dollars of excess toll road revenues.
When Rep. @ManoForStateRep and I filed bills to stop this misuse of transportation dollars, there was a lot wrong with what was going on at HCTRA.
Now, as the letter attached points out, a fairer County PCT distribution of these funds was also agreed too through Commissioners Court vote, and for the first time, the City of Houston and the Court are discussing the public safety cost burden by @houstonpolice and @HoustonFire as testified to in hearings at the Capitol.
However, major issues remain, as detailed in the letter, including usage of these funds for non-transportation related projects, other departments, lack of transparency, no real audits, etc...
I call on @HarrisCoJudge@LinaHidalgoTX , and Commissioners @RodneyEllis@AdrianGarciaHTX, @HCP4__Briones, and @TomSRamsey2 to respond as the public continually asks me if these excess toll road monies will be used to buy down debt or reduce tolls. We will be awaiting your response, @joanhuffman, @DennisPaulTexas, @LaceyHullTx, @CharlesTX127, etc...
Last year, Texas trial lawyers teamed up with George Soros on a multi-million dollar effort to "Stop MAGA Republicans." Now those same lawyers are trying to convince GOP lawmakers that Trump voters oppose a bill to curtail abusive litigation practices.

Tony - you know better than to mislead, but that rarely stops you. Again you mislead here. The TCPA as intended is alive and well. The bill does not change that. It simply provides some protection to the little guy from the bullies who misuse and abuse the TCPA.
These #txlege parodies can be fun and funny, but when you bury the parody those lacking integrity are only trying to fool the 59% that voted to re-elect @ManoForStateRep
The case was delayed due to judge DaSean Jones’ filing anti-SLAPP motion to dismiss. Presiding Judge last year called the motion “frivolous” & has ordered Jones to pay $65k for Pierce’s legal fees. #Houston https://t.co/oVzIbHCUpd
Game 2 of @astros vs. Tigers is today! Michiganders can legally bet on the game, but Texans have to use unsafe, illegal betting sites with no consumer protections to place bets on their favorite teams.
@jen_rice_ Jen, send me her deets or do your own research to see the last time this person voted. Sara inadvertently left that out. Also, show up and vote and you never have to worry about being a suspense voter.
