@JCDenton2050 @Cubed_h1 @itsRealHYPEX developers dont sit there and enjoy debugging a runtime error for 6 hours. you never see the code to "appreciate" it. this tool has allowed developers to focus on other things. it's like saying we shouldnt use excavators and everyone has to dig by hand like we have done for years

"AI slop" is a real problem. but the fix is better taste, not banning the tool. bad content existed long before AI. it just got cheaper

Capcom has clarified what it meant by the “AI-generation game engine.”

The company says RE Engine will use AI to speed development and improve efficiency, including tools, code testing, and data analysis.

Capcom does not plan to use generative AI for in-game assets or content, such as art, characters, or other game elements.

AI will work behind the scenes, not create the game itself.

@_JOEZCafe this is why smart people create an AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md themselves that has a spec and format for coding that the AI needs to adhere to, making it understandable for the developer because they designed the format for functions, file layout, etc.

@evanniestash i have both, and i reach for spotify every single time. The U.S only has the premium plan tho, and apple music here actually costs only a dollar less per month. the thing that apple music just doesnt have is any good social features for listen along, and i do that very often
